Stative verbs (for 10th form)

Stative verbs don't describe actions and that's why they are not normally used in continuous tenses.
Stative verbs often refer to
Emotions (love, like, hate, prefer, want, satisfy....)
Human senses (see, hear, smell, taste, sound.....)
Thinking (think, suppose, consider, believe, imagine, understand, know..)
Appearance ( seem, look, appear, resemble...)
Relationship between things (have, own, belong to, include, consist of..)
Some of these words can be used in Continuous tenses, but the meaning is changes.
The soup smells/tastes funny.
I am smelling/tasting the milk to see if it is okay.
I see much better with my new glasses.
I am seeing Jack tomorrow. We are going to the cinema.
